You can delete your Personae account at any time, from inside the app. You don't need to contact us first.
Your account is closed immediately. You are signed out on every device, you can't sign in again, and your personas stop appearing to other people straight away.
Thirty days after you delete your account, the following are permanently removed and cannot be recovered:
For 30 days after deletion, the data above is retained but inaccessible. This exists so that an accidental deletion can be reversed if you contact us within that window. After 30 days it is permanently erased.
After erasure we keep an empty record containing only an internal identifier and the dates of deletion. It holds no personal information and exists so we can confirm a deletion was carried out if you ask. Anonymous, aggregated usage counts that cannot identify you may also remain in our records.
Where we are required by law to retain something for longer — for example records relating to a payment or a legal request — we keep only what is required, and only for as long as required.
If you only want to remove one conversation, open that persona's profile and reset the conversation. That erases the messages and memories for that persona alone and leaves your account intact.
If you can't access the app to delete your account, or you deleted it by mistake and it's still within 30 days, email personaeverse.support@gmail.com from the address on the account and we'll take care of it.
